I agree with this...but I don't think teaching an administrator what a
library does is quite the same as promoting your program. How many folks have done
things barely related to the library as promotion? We always have something
going, but that doesn't mean the principal has a clue as to what the media
specialist should be doing, or how the media center is best used. We don't always
have the option of promoting that.
