Hi all,

I have a very supportive principal. I meet with him often to show him what
I am doing, have the parents tell him what they like when they compliment
me or the library program that I teaching.

This year we did lose a librarian, and we have to cover her class load.
I  sent a school board member (whom I have known for a number of years) a
copy of every letter that I sent to the superintendent and HR guy so she
would know why this is not the right cut to make. She wrote me and said
that she understood better what we do and why we are upset. We will see if
anything results of those letters.

I think I will send a job description to her too.  That might be a good
thing to send all board members.  Even if they "know" that we are the
Teacher-Librarians, do they know how much we "do"??
