Our last day was Friday. The kids are gone. And now I have to make
out the orders for next year. No open POs. We gotta spend down our
budgets quick, as they are very likely to freeze them early on. So I
come to those of you still reading LM_NET for a recommendation. What
are good series on countries? My 940-990's are the next sections to
rehab. Does anyone use the Rourke series "Dropping in on..."? I'd
prefer series that look at the lives of the people in that country,
particularly children, rather than the postcard-tourist look. I'm a
K-4 school, so a 3rd to 4th grade reading level is what I need.
        Many thanks!
        Johanna
