Actually, I have been kicking around the idea of signing up with my state's school library organization (WEMA= Wisconsin Educational Media Association) to host a LM_NET round table at their annual Spring conference. I haven't gotten far with this idea seed. Maybe others would help me flesh this out and do similarly at their own state conferences. I've been thinking I would share some of my favorite things learned from LM_NET, examples of timely and indispensible advice I've gained, my favorite collaborations (though just a very few, VERY FUN and valuable) started with LM_NETters, promote the listserv and demonstrate how we operate... I don't want to put the ka-bosh on a world-wide LM_NET conference. I'm just doubting I'd ever get "there" and think starting small is a good idea. We could "advertise" our state conferences on the listserv and expand our reach that way.... You're all invited to Madison, WI next April! :) Marcia Dressel, Librarian- preK-5 Osceola Elem and Intermediate School Libraries Osceola, WI ddressel@svtel.net =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
