 Gale's Women's History Month Resource Center Showcases
 Women in the News throughout 2002
 Kalpana Chawla was in love with the beauty of space. In her final
e-mail,
 Laurel Clark wrote, "viewing Earth from space is spectacular, I feel
blessed to be here."
 These heroes, the female astronauts of Space Shuttle Columbia are
remembered in
 Gale's Women's History Month resource center.
 The site offers free resources to help celebrate Women's History Month.

 collection of activities and information.
 Women in the news, from Actress Jennifer Connelly, figure skater Sarah
 Hughes and singer Pink to basketball player Lisa Leslie
 and U.S. National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice have been added
 to the diverse collection of biographies of significant women
throughout time.
 A timeline highlights important events in women's history from ancient
times
 through the present and excerpts from Women's Rights on Trial traces
 history by reviewing landmark legal cases, from Susan B. Anthony's 1873

 trial for unlawful voting to the 1996 trial that opened the Virginia
 Military Institute to women. Additionally, there are activities to help
educators
 and parents teach children about the importance of women's history and
links to
 other WWW pages by and for women. Gale's Women's History Month center
 includes a daily quiz starting March 1 that tests knowledge of the role
of women
 throughout time. Weekly prizes will be given to one winner each week.
