Our school district has decided to use a "cookie-cutter" approach with =
the individual school web pages. Every page is going to have to use the =
same navigation buttons. The main problem with this is that they have =
decided to eliminate the "Media Center" button. They have said that I =
can still maintain the Media Center web page, but it will have to be =
placed under the "About Us" button.

I am pretty upset about this because I have put many hours of work into =
my Media Center pages. I feel that no one will think to click on About =
Us to look for information about the Media Center. The main problem is =
that several of the other library media specialists don't maintain a =
library page. So instead of requiring them to raise their standards, our =
district is "dummying down."=20

Can any of you help me out with arguments for why there should be a =
Media Center button on every school's web page? Or can you suggest a =
name for a button that would work other than About Us?

Thanks for any help you can give me.
