We could probably spend the rest of our lives discussing the merits or lack
thereof of the 100 titles included in this list. But...I can't let this
go by:
_Goodnight Moon_. This is just a dumb book. I don=92t get why people
like it. There is absolutely no story and the art work is nothing
special.
This was my family's favorite book when we were kids in the 50's and early
60's. I just got lost in the pictures. As a mother, saying goodnight to the
objects in the kids' room was the prelude to going to bed; a very important
night time routine. For a 2 year old finding where the mouse is in each
picture is a nightly delight. I still have our original 50's edition,
masking taped together but with the vibrant original pages.
