Thank you to all who have already replied concerning tenure (or lack thereof)
in your state. I'm still working on my list and would like to get responses
from all 50 states and DC before posting the hit.
I have heard from the following states:
AL, AZ, CT, FL, IA, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC,
NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SD, TN, TX, VT, VA, and WI.
If anyone lives in the other states, please let me know whether or not your
state offers tenure to teachers and if so, after how many years. Thanks!
PS: So far, the only state that doesn't offer tenure is VA.
