I think it's a violation of copyright if they use the whole song in the
video without permission.  Double-check with the "copyright bible" but I
believe I just went over the same issue with our freshmen and their Decades
project.

Use of only 30-seconds...regardless.  There are too many copies being
distributed and it's basically "giving away the song" to everyone who wants
it.
