In glancing at that site a bit more, apparently Daniel Handler (aka
Lemony Snicket) is the screen writer...he is also quoted as saying he
"really wanted Boris Karlof for the part of Olaf....but he's dead!!!"

As I have been doing behavior comments for final report cards, I think
I have a few future Daniel Handlers and Jim Careys in my classes! ;-)
