I just recently read A Series of Unfortunate Events and while I'm thrilled that yet another children's/young adult novel is being made into a movie, I am a little disappointed in the choice of actors to play Count Olaf. I find that Jim Carey is Jim Carey no matter what role he plays. Even the Grinch became Carey, rather than Carey becoming the Grinch. Kids and teens do seem to like him though and, hopefully, that will help draw attention not only to the movie but the books as well.
