TECH: IE 6 problems

I downloaded the Google spam tool bar but first I had to download I.E. 6.
I'm using Windows 98.
I get an error message if I try to click on a link in an e-mail every time.
The error wants me to report it to Microsoft. I've reported it about  four
thousand times but it still happens.

Any ideas?
