The simplest one I can think of is the following: West Side Story -- Romeo & Juliet (is this too late?) In fact, there is a combined edition of the 2 of them in print. Additionally, There is Antigone by Sophocles & Antigone by Jean Anoulih. Beowulf & Grendel by John Champlin Gardner.
