I am working on my MLS through East Carolina University Distance programs.
It is available totally online. I love it. I completed my bachelor's
degree distance learning through Washington State University (GO COUGS!) and
have found that I actually had more direct connection with my professors
than when I attended traditional programs on campus. With only one
exception, the online or distance professors maintained office hours and
connected via phone or e-mail usually within hours, but definately within a
day. I have also found that some people find that they are able to
participate more fully in the classroom if they are not required to be
face-to-face. The group interaction has always been great. I agree,
however, that it is important to choose a program that has the "brick and
mortar" backing.
