Thanks for all the support on this subject. I should have said that I'm
not a new librarian, just new to middle school and new to this particular
school. I have 13 years of experience at the high school and elementary
levels. I did talk with the teacher, who agreed with me that things got
out of hand. She also explained to me that the computer lab wasn't open
for this kind of thing last year, so she had gotten in the habit of coming
to the library instead. She'll be signing up for the lab from now on.
