Greetings all Happy Halloween I was approached today by a member of our school districts negotiations committee. They want to consider using the elementary library time (currently fixed) as release time for the teachers. The problem with this, which I immediately explained, is that we do not have full time librarians in all of the 10 elementary schools in our district. This seems a major drawback to me!! She asked if I would ask around about this, so here goes... For those of you in the St. Louis area, are you used for release time? Can anyone give me plusses for using library time for release time (assuming there are enough librarians) Can anyone give me the minuses of such a plan? Thanks in advance Sue Kettler Rogers Elementary Mehlville School District 7700 Fine Road St. Louis, MO 63129 kettlers@mehlville.k12.mo.us __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
