Hello Friends,
I received the October issue of Teen People today and was flipping through
it when I came across a very offensive ad. It is for a new fragrance for him
and her, with the little fragrance samples. The name was FCUK, and the ad
was very suggestive. I checked with several other teachers who were even
more offended than I. I plan to write the editors of Teen People and
express my concern and displeasure. We dropped our subscription to Seventeen
this year because I felt they had gone over the edge as far as middle school
students were concerned.
If you receive this magazine, look it over before you put it out for
students.
