HIT-->Cassette to Computer

There seem to be two ways to do this.

First the quick, dirty and easy way: Play the cassette and record it to =
your
computer using a microphone and software such as GoldWave, CoolEdit or
Soundblaster.=20

The more involved (and expensive), but cleaner way is to be sure your
computer's sound card has an input for a 3.5mm Stereo Plug (like a =
computer
microphone uses), and that your cassette player has outputs for RCA =
cables
(the old familiar red and white cables). Then purchase a 3.5mm Stereo
Plug/RCA Jack x 2 Y CABLE to make the connection from your RCA cables to =
the
computer. I found an adaptor of this type on-line at
http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat%5Fid=3D2009&sku=3D03179. I'm =
not
particularly recommending the company since I've never done business =
with
them, but you can see a picture there. (They may be a great company, by =
the
way.)

I'm going with the microphone route for now since I'm on a deadline, but
will probably get the adaptor for later use.
