I would advocate for full. Focus not on 'all the rules', but why. The =
rules
change; why we do it doesn't. Use whatever HS and MS use
A consideration: Many of your 4th-5th graders are going to be slow
keyboardists, and with a limited set of formatting skills. Maybe just
filling out a worksheet for each resource used would be a more =
beneficial
use of limited library and lab time, at least for first couple of =
research
rounds. Teacher could still check quality of resources, make sure right
types are used, and check for completeness.=20
It is important to get teachers on-board. A good time to work on quality =
of
resource, comparing information, etc.
