TAR: high interest/low level literary magazine

Hi friends--

I have an English teacher at her wits' end who's come to me for help,
and so I in turn am coming to you.

She's searching for a literary magazine to use with a class of low
reading level and non-native speakers junior English class.  She needs
something with a maximum of 8th grade reading level.

She remembered a magazine called Read that had plays, articles, and
stories that also included skills work on grammar, reading, and
vocabulary.  She's investigated this, but the price is more than her
budget will tolerate.

Please help us if you can!
