[LM_NET] Share: Unexpected influence

Dear friends,

    Most of the time, we don't know the many subtle ways our libraries
make personal difference to our students, but occasionally a student
from our past does speak up.  On Christmas Eve I heard via Instant
Message from a former middle school library student helper who is now in
college.

    Hank wrote, "well so far i have read over 500 books, im working on a
few now. The whole workin in a library helped me read alot, and now its
like a hobby."  Then Hank went on to name the three books he is
currently reading.

    I am sharing this unexpected holiday present with all of you,
because it really does belongs to all of us.
