HIT: books to movies

Is there a website or a list somewhere of books that have been turned into
movies or soon to be out as a movie?

stories, and plays that have been made into motion pictures. Utilizing the
Internet Movie Database as the authority on release dates, all movies in
this collection have been released since 1980."

When I was at an elementary school, I did a display "You've see the movie,
now read the book" and put out all the books that had been made into
movies. The kids loved it!  Most came back and said, "Oh the book was so
much better!"  It really piqued their interest in reading.  I'd say it was
one of my more successful displays as far as kids taking the books off the
display to read.

For our November Family Reading Night our theme was Books Before Movies. I
also utilized space with these books that later became movies. You can see
the list on the attachment. Some of the ideas were from previous lists on
our listserv and my own additions.
