At my grad school, they used to leave copies of the LC Subject
headings in the room with the new computerized catalogs so
that patrons could check subject headings.

Now, I usually pass on our old "Sears" book to one of the
elementary schools in our district, but if you don't have
someone waiting for yours, you might try that. It would
even have the advantage of having your personalized
headings already pencilled in!
