Hello to All and Happy New Year--

A librarian friend of mine was teaching a seventh grade class to do a "Works
Cited" list. When she saw them the following week and told them to take out their
lists, one of the kids had written at the top of her page---"We're Excited!" ;-)

A question for elementary librarians: what journals do you subscribe to for
yourself? I get School Library Journal, Horn Book, BookBag and School Library Media
Activities Monthly. I'm not wild about BookBag and SLMAM, because they don't seem
appropriate for my situation. Does anyone have any other recommendations? Should I
get Booklist? What is Library Sparks? The same friend as above mentioned it
tonight, but I don't know of it.

Thanks for your help!
