need some good advice in catalogin and organizing a large dvd and video = tape collection. Before we were automated all this media was given a = number IE- disney videos were all in the 300-399 range and religious = media in the 200-299 range. No dewey #'s were used -they were just = sequentially #. Since they are stored in 3 large cabinets it was has = been easy to find dvd or video # 287. Now that we are automated I am = beginning to tackle this project. They will still be housed in these = cabinets and are only available to faculty and staff. Any suggestions in cataloging this extensive collection?
