The Duneland School Corporation located in Chesterton, Indiana, is
seeking a full-time library media specialist to serve one of its
elementary schools (K-4). A past winner of the AASL School Library
Media Program of the Year Award, the Duneland School Corporation has a
long tradition of providing exemplary media services to students and staff.
This position is responsible for implementing a full program of media
services that includes information literacy instruction, reading
appreciation programs, collaborative curriculum activities, and
technology integration. The media specialist supervises a full-time
media secretary and a full-time technology aide. Processing, ordering,
and technology support is provided by district library media personnel.
Applicants must possess an Indiana Teacher License with a library media
services endorsement.
