Dear Friends,
Having just returned from a two-day leadership retreat, I decided to post a
target as I know that many LM_NET members are active members in their own state
library associations for school media specialists.
I have been asked to serve as Chair-Elect for my state's library media
specialists association. During the 2004-05 school year, I will be shadowing the
Chair and attending meeetings in order to learn about the process before
actually serving as Chairman during the 2005-06 school year.
As I was driving back and thinking about the year ahead, I thought I would
try and post a target - asking others who have served in similar positions in
different states for their best advice and recommendations, especially
concerning technology. I recently purchased a new Dell laptop which I can take with
me when I "hit the road".
