Last night I was standing in line for Harry Potter with my family for the 10 p.m. show when I overheard people around me commenting about the shoes and clothing others were wearing. I heard one of them say "I have those shoes, but I just can't wear them to work because they squeak as I walk across the library." I turned and asked if they were librarians and they sheepishly asked, "What gave it away? The practical clothes and hair or the glasses?" Turns out they were in town for Special Library Association conference. We had lots of giggles in line. For those of you who haven't seen HP-POA, my husband said it best as we left, "How could they leave so much out of the book and mix up all the pieces? The book is so much better." He asked how anyone would understand it without reading the book, and I just laughed. Guess he'll hurry to read book 4 before the movie release in Nov. 2005.
