How do you all handle situations where you know the child is not able to =
return book or pay? eg - put in a foster home and the book is at the biol. =
parents, custody battles where the child cannot go back to get the book, =
etc? During the year I let the child "work it off" but at the end of the =
year?

I cal students out of class and personally ask for them about a week
before school is out=3D2E We have a Spring Fling outside the last day of
school=3D2E Students are not aloud to go out without first getting
cleared in the library=3D2E I had some unusal situations this year, some
even very sad ones=3D2E I had three books that did not get returned=3D2E =

plan to keep them from picking up their schedules at the 7th Gr=3D2E =
Ctr=3D2E
in Aug=3D2E if they do not come & pay for the book=3D2E
