I went in to school today to see if some materials I had ordered had
arrived...instead I found two large boxes full of audio cd's. I found out
that these cd's were ours to keep because they were part of a settlement
from a lawsuit. Libraries in 43 states will be receiving these cd's. There
s an article on CNN's site:
http://www.cnn.com/2004/EDUCATION/06/25/cd.settlement.ap/index.html

At first I was thrilled to be getting TWO WHOLE BOXES OF CD"S! Then I
looked at the contents...it's 99% garbage...I love music, but I have never
heard of some of these singers or groups...I don't think I could even sell
them on a school rummage sale. What a waste!
