ALA conference

I've seen a couple of LM_NETters here - but have not heard about a get
together...
Do we want to meet?  I had been waiting to see if there was some sort of
'official' meeting, but have not seen one. Those who are here for the
conference are welcome to meet at my house Tuesday night - just let me know
and I'll stop by Sam's for snacks - and send you directions...

Also, I purchased tickets to the Newbery/Caldecott ($85) banquet and to the
Michael Printz Program ($25) - but I really don't want to go.... Banquets
are not my 'thing' and I was in a state of ALA excitement when I purchased
them....  When I came down from my 'ALA high' and realized I didn't want
them I just figured I would post them on a message board like I saw at AASL
in Kansas City. There is no message board - only computer messages that can
only be sent to one person...So if anyone knows someone that wants buy a
ticket to either of these two night functions (that are sold out..) I will
be near the Services booth in the registration area wearing my LM_NET golf
shirt at 1:00 pm and we can ask the services person about switching the
tickets.  When I spoke to the woman at the desk yesterday she said she knew
people were looking for tickets - and I have them but don't want them any
longer - and I don't know how to meet up with someone who might want to buy
them...
