Elementary school schedule

Our district is considering adopting a new schedule that will include,
among other things, flexible scheduling for elementary libraries, and a
2 hour block weekly when students are not in school and all teachers
will be available for collaborative planning, with the librarian, with
other grade level team members, and vertical teams (k-2 and 3-5).  We
will slightly extend 4 days for kids to gain the 2 hour block.  I am
looking for other schools that have a similar schedule to answer some
specific questions that an administrator is looking to gather data on.

1.  What day do you have the block for planning?  (Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday or Friday)
2.  Do you start late or or have an early release on the day with the
planning block?
