This may not be what you want but it is a good book written about the theft of art by the Nazis from 5 French Jewish families (Rothschild, Rosenberg, Bernheim-Jeune, David-Weill, and Schloss). It is a good book but a little difficult for a poor reader. Anyway, the title is The Lost Museum: The Nazi conspiracy to steal the world's greatest works of art by Hector Feliciano. NY : BasicBooks, 1997. If it is reparations issues he's looking for he'd do better with the New York Times. Hope this helps.
