Target: 4th,5th grade reading website

hi all - A fifth grade teacher is looking for a website that might have =
"short stories or reading passages" that he can have kids read and then =
work on responses and comprehension. The kids are at 4th or low fifth =
grade reading level. Anyone have any suggestions? I told him I would put =
out a request.
I will post a "hit" if I get any responses.
