I have bought several NEC (VT 460) LCD projectors in the last year or so
and have been disappointed in how fast the bulbs blow, literally blow
up. I don't know if the teachers are moving them or turning off the fan
before they cool, but the bulbs are not lasting the hours that they
should. Does anyone know of a LCD projector that is affordable for
classroom use that uses bulbs that cost a lot less than the $250.00 for
the NEC bulbs? In other words, I need an affordable LCD projector with
a relatively cheap bulb.
