I forgot to mention in my last message to you - make sure they have cleaned
the filter; that caused the bulb to literally explode in one projector and
the company we purchased it from aid that is one of the most common reason
for bulb failure  in the machines.

I have bought several NEC (VT 460) LCD projectors in the last year or so
and have been disappointed in how fast the bulbs blow, literally blow
up.  I don't know if the teachers are moving them or turning off the fan
before they cool, but the bulbs are not lasting the hours that they
should.  Does anyone know of a LCD projector that is affordable for
classroom use that uses bulbs that cost a lot less than the $250.00 for
the NEC bulbs?  In other words, I need an affordable LCD projector with
a relatively cheap bulb.
