PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) works
primarily through its local chapters, so it doesn't appear to offer a
national listserv or online support group.  If the parent hasn't already
done so, then I'd recommend she visit the PFLAG website at www.pflag.org
for information and to seek out a local chapter.

I tried the archives - but they appear to be down right now.  I have
had
a request from a parent of a gay child to locate some online support
groups/listservs/discussion groups for parents of gay children.  She
is
really trying to understand her child & do what is right.  She needs
somewhere that she can feel anonymous to ask questions and share her
feelings with other parents.  I think she would also appreciate some
good book suggestions.   We have nothing here written from a parent's
point of view.
