LM_NET Archive



As described on the site <http://www.tinyurl.com>, the tinyurl is a
permant substitution for the larger url submitted. As long as the larger
url is good, the tinyurl will be good.  The only drawback to the tinyurl
is that it doesn't provide any clues to the actual site of the item
cited. A site url, no matter how long, provides clues as to its origin.
