HIT: Webcam in the Library

I received three responses regarding this issue.  Each person was concerned
about students' privacy violation issues.  A permission form would be needed
from each student in the school in order to broadcast this over the internet.

My superintendent was also concerned about the possibility of stalkers using
the school website to track the location of students in the media center.
Also, there might be issues with non-custodial parents using the site to monitor
their children during the day and trying to kidnap them.  Finally, there is
even the possibility of a governmental witness relocation program for a family.
If someone recognized a student, it could give away the location and identity
of the relocated family member.

For these reasons, I have abandoned my idea of trying to install a webcam in
my media center.  Thanks to all who responded.
