I posted a target for leadership websites. I didn't get many responses, but I did some more searching and the following websites were recommended on various pathfinders, etc. Sarah S. Maltby, Ph.D. examines leadership training. It's hosted by Biola University. http://www.biola.edu/academics/scs/leadership/bornormade.cfm International Leadership Association - This website is home for the International Leadership Association which is a global network for all those who practice, study and teach leadership. The website contains information about the organization, their conferences, their publications, and provides full-text articles on leadership, although you have to go down a few levels to find them. This topic in the library helps readers gain broad understanding of the concept of leadership along with the various areas of knowledge and skills required to lead from a variety of perspectives and in a variety of contexts. It is published eight times a year and mailed to all members. Included is a survey to see what areas your school needs to improve and, under the various headings, video clips of leaders in the field. http://www.ncrel.org/sdrs/areas/le0cont.htm Leadership development for the gifted and talented- This website provides ideas for a leadership unit in the classroom. Although it is focused for Talented and Gifted Students in lower grades, some of the ideas could be used by yourself or applied in a post-secondary classroom. http://www.nexus.edu.au/teachstud/gat/far_kro.htm School Leadership - This website is a list of links that specifically focus on leadership in schools. It is maintained by the 'Education Project Asia (TEPA)' which is a consultancy established in 2002 with the aim of offering support to the international schools in 17 countries in South East Asia.
