I just now read the humorous message about the old globe being used for the
logo art (from March 10th). I wanted to share to not get rid of any globes
from that far back without first trying to sell them at a specialty store or
possibly on Ebay. We almost got rid of one of ours that still had USSR and
luckily we were informed by a collector that it was quite valuable. We were
just going to let a guy have it for maybe $5 or $10 and luckily we changed
our minds. It might possibly make some good money for the library if you
auctioned it off! Good luck!
