REF: Discipline in High Schools Greetings to all and thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer. My principal is requesting ideas on how to improve our detention policy. He ( and I totally agree with him) feels that giving students a forty minute detention after school for a misdeed is not working. We have many repeat offenders and when you give a detention many students could care less. So if your school has a system that works I'd love to be able to share it with my principal.
