Interesting that this thread comes up at same time as the comments about
plagiarism show.
One problem with blocking that site is making sure _all_ the similar =
sites
are blocked. Then kids determined to use it will just have to find a =
way to
goof around till they get home.....
Of course one answer is to make assignments that ask for more =
understanding
of the work than what cliff offers.

English teachers but our Tech coordinator said that he wouldn't do it =

it is a legitimate site (i.e. it's not porn or games, etc.). Obviously =

kids can access sites like CLIFFNOTES .com at home and elsewhere but I
didn't think it was an unreasonable request by the teacher since we
certainly don't condone the use of them and really don't want them used =

at
school.
I'd appreciate hearing other's thoughts.
