I've collected comics for over thirty years - I use the ones about reading for bulletin boards every year. It's neat seeing the how things change and how they stay the same as far as reading goes. Start your collection now and keep adding to it. Also if you have family members that live in different parts of the state or country and get comics in their papers ask them to save reading comics for you. My parent's paper has Crankshaft, my paperdoesn't. Over several years there was an on going story about Crankshaft learning how to read (he's a school bus driver, who has grandchildren) and she saved all the strips for this story line. All of my comics are laminated, some were mounted and then laminated.
