Dear LM_NET,

This morning we noticed that the University of Phoenix had popup ads
showing up spontaneously on our networked computers. It was extremely
difficult to get rid of them.

I called their headquarters to ask for assistance, an was told to e-mail
them. Nobody would help, and then they hung up when I insisted on talking
with someone who could solve the problem. What a way to run a university.
(Are they a "real" university?)

Has anyone else had a problem with them? Hard to believe that a "real"
university would use such underhanded tricks that take us away from our
students, especially at one of our busiest times of the year.
