TARGET: Library Home Page Design Factors

Hello,

I'm currently working on a final project dealing with library home page design 
factors. I found some excellent web sites and journals that deals with the subject 
but I would like hear some of your thoughts and ideas on the subject. I would like 
to know the outcomes (good or bad)and what resources did you use in making the site 
for your library.
