[LM_NET] MS: Girl who loved Tom Gordon

I need some help, and I know I can count on your collective wisdom.
A teacher has requested the book _The girl who loved Tom Gordon_ by
Stephen King be added to our collection.  We are an 8th grade only
building, but my concern is that the reviews I'm seeing recommend it
for YA/Adult.  We do have some "adult" fiction in our collection.  I've
not read this book, and would be concerned about  adult situations
and/or excessive adult language.
