Hello, I have students who have difficulty choosing the citation format that BEST fits the source. Of course, most students get the idea with a few examples, but a healthy minority of students like to cite EVERYTHING like a general encyclopedia article--it's the shortest format after all ... Have any of you developed a flow chart or other kind of graphic organizer that illustrates the metacognative process that you might be willing to share? How do you teach this to your students? Thank you, Dave Wee, Librarian Harvard-Westlake Middle School 700 North Faring Road Los Angeles, California 90077 Phone: (310) 288-3270 "You see, I don't believe that libraries should be drab places where people sit in silence, and that's been the main reason for our policy of employing wild animals as librarians." ~~ Monty Python ~~ -------------------------------------------------------------------- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
