We will be going through a Textbook adoption next year for Social
Studies. The Government teacher does not want to go with the traditional
textbook format. We use Magruder's American Government 2002 now. We are
not happy with the low reading level of the text. What are other
government classes using? This is for a regular government class. We
want to challenge the seniors - raise the bar. Our efforts to remediate
struggling readers seem to be paying off.
I am looking forward to seeing what types of texts/resources/readers are
being used.
