[LM_NET] Target: Materials to accompany "Surviving the Applewhites" by Tolan

Hi all,

Have any of you or the teachers in your school read "Surviving the Applewhites" by 
Tolan?
Our 6th grade teachers are doing it as a read-aloud and are looking for experiences 
that will make it come alive for the kids and more fun!

I have read it, but they have not given me any time as they want  to start next 
Monday; we're out of school from Wednesday - Sunday.  I'm going away for the 
holidays.
Any ideas along this line would be sooooooooo much appreciated.
